“To me, ornamental design depends on decoration. It’s the part where I can put in details and make the artwork more complete. It’s hard to say what makes a good ornamental design but I think that it should give your artwork more charm and make it more personal, like engraving your signature on it.”

Pomme Chan was born and educated in Bangkok, Thailand, but now resides in the UK. Obsessed with detail, she finds the inspiration for her hand-drawn illustrations in everyday life, Nature, fashion and architecture. She is also passionate about her typographical illustration, several examples of which have appeared in La Peril magazine, as a cover for Digital Arts magazine and in the New York Times magazine.
