Protey Temen — Moscow, Russia

"The most interesting process in identity development is the research of guidelines and rules. They follow certain algorithms that allow me to concentrate not only on the final object but also on the flexible nature of the object’s environment."

Protey Temen was born in 1984 in Moscow. Most of his life has been devoted to graphic art. Drawing as a mean of communication is what first attracted him to it. He studied at the International Institute of Advertising, specialising in art direction. He has oscillated between design and art for the last eight years. The basic principle of his work is the description of a personal environment. And he is more interested in looking for structural connections and work with symbolic solutions than detailed documentary images.
