“Mizaru and Micro were both very effective, for similar reasons. They both used touch in very intuitive, novel, yet unique ways. This interaction coupled with the light and sound both of these projects produced really engaged people and sparked their wonder.”
Purring Tiger is a multi-cultural, multi-media, interactive, installation/performance group, led by choreographer/installation artist Kiori Kawai, and composer/New Media artist Aaron Sherwood. Its mission, it says, is “to bring people together in the context of art, in a subtext of wonder. We use technology to intertwine the human body with sounds and visuals, and foster interaction.”
