What do you enjoy most about designing event and festival identities? “First of all, the project is approached with a special sense of optimism. For me, working on branding projects is what I enjoy the most, but these projects come with the added factor of creative freedom and the awareness that you’re not selling a product, but rather positive sensations and culture. It allows you to evolve the branding throughout the process and in each piece, gives you the opportunity to create a living system. You have the chance to be part of that energy and joy, and to try to spread it many months before the event takes place.”
