"Glitch is just an element that I often use in my futuristic artworks. I think it’s part of a new world that we don’t fully understand yet. When most people think about glitch design, they simply think about the imitation of digital errors. When I think about glitch, I interpret it as an alteration of reality."
Belgian artists Rogier de Boevé is currently studying for a master’s degree in graphic design and at the same time working with on-line art groups Slashthree and Evoke1. His style is an interpretation of Retro-Futurism, combining the old with the New Media. His unusual treatment of texture can often make an unexpected psychological impact. Boevé derives his inspiration from the influence that digitalisation has on art.
