Ryan Paul Ragnini — Moscow, Russia

“Pop is mostly elements from popular culture that are remastered and/or transformed in order to create new, powerful messages. The inspiration for my illustrations comes from Japanese culture, such as its folklore, food, music, theatre, wood prints, sculptures, manga, pottery and proverbs. The fact that Japanese culture is very popular globally allows me to use its elements in order to conduct a general audit in a very specific way. Using such an inspiration pond allows me to create powerful, understandable, and direct advertising no matter the country of use.”

Ryan Paul Ragnini is a graphic designer specialising in illustration and logo design.
