Sciencewerk (est. 2011) is an independent design studio based in Surabaya, Indonesia. It comprises a team of multi-disciplinary designers that creates identity design, websites, print, objects for corporate clients, organisations, individual, and self-initiated projects. It works collectively in various media with “the most interesting people in digital to traditional craft”. The name Sciencewerk was inspired by a self-initiated project, an online exhibition held in 2008: “Sciencewerk: Cloning And Society” involved more than 30 South-East Asian artists to raise awareness about cloning through art collaborations.
