Trash Track (2009 - 2010): Trash Track is an study into understanding the 'removal-chain' of our cities' trash. The project utilitise hundreds of small, smart, location aware tags. These tags are attached to different types of trash so that these items can be followed through the city's waste management system, revealing the final journey of our everyday objects in a series of real time visualizations.
SENSEable City Laboratory is a new research initiative at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It specialises in studying and anticipating real-time changes of our environment from the increasing deployment of sensors and hand-held electronics in recent years.
