Sorin Voicu — Los Angeles, USA

“My main approach to interactive design is from a story-telling perspective; it can be either a protagonist, a supporting character or an antagonist (bad design). In my work, the best interactive design doesn’t get in the way of the story, it’s something that is almost taken for granted and flows seamlessly with the story that I am communicating. Interactive design is the journey that will lead me to achieve my goals. The quality of the design will ultimately shape my experience, and great design always leaves me with a positive and fun memory.”

Sorin Voicu is a multi-disciplinary, self-taught digital artist. After his formal studies in architecture and computer graphics at the university of Rome in Italy, he specialised in motion design for corporate industries and film. His work is often inspired by his obsession with technology and the way it changes our world.
