“It is a shame, but in this digital age it is rarely economical to actually print the poster designs we create. However, there is one key scenario where I think they are still vitally important. The poster for me is the one format where designers and printers can showcase their work in a gallery environment. This enables us to demonstrate that graphic design has value and can be just as powerful, effective and emotive as art. Unfortunately, many are still of the opinion that despite the results, the use of digital tools are somehow less worthy than traditional creative methods.”
