“We only have the conviction that a simple form can be expressive as long as it is relevant to the subject. Each project is unique and should be specifically approached. Each medium of expression requires special attention. It’s very important for us to have a good knowledge of the medium to create the most efficient design.”

Lyon-based design studio Superscript² takes geometric typographic-design systems and turns them into something very personal. “We find in these forms a graphic expression of our own,” says Pierre Delmas Bouly, who founded the company with Patrick Lallemand in 2006. “Our design practice follows the precept of less is more. We discovered our graphic personality and our passion for design in this modernist vision and we like the idea of carrying on developing this form of expression.”
