Turbina — Barcelona, Spain

“One of the biggest challenges proposed by a window display is space and point of view. We really enjoy being able to work in a format in which the piece has its corporeality. It forces us to control everything that happens to its surroundings: the setting of the piece, space and lighting allow us to recreate the whole scene. When we can work on the whole space, the pieces are always created from it. The different points of view that the viewer can adopt make reading the work more complex and interesting.”

Turbina is an art and design studio located in Barcelona and focused on the creation of pieces, objects and machines that revolve around the concepts of time and movement. It claims that through its work, it tries to “give other answers to the logical and trascendental dificulties the very idea of time presents”.
