Village — Brooklyn, USA

What is the most memorable piece of typography you have come across? “There was a foundry in New York City from 1813 to 1901 called Bruce’s New York Foundry. The specimen book they produced in 1882 features their extraordinary and unique designs. This book is the most amazing typographic document I have ever seen.”

Village was launched in 2005 as a co-operative distributor for a select group of small type foundries.
