Yok & Sheryo — Ping Pong Auto Shack — Detroit, USA

Yok & Sheryo were invited by Inner State Gallery to build a Detroit inspired installation for “Murals in the Market 2016”. To what was initially a surf shack, the duo made it into an Auto shack of sorts, with some other extra bits — a Ping Pong Auto Shack, a Stab You Good Tattoo Parlor, a Titty Twister Bar and a Detroit Tiger Head.

The installation consisted of artwork from paintings on found wood, hand-painted car doors and vintage gas cans lined the walls, two neon signs lit up the entire space. Tattoo Designs were chosen off our flash sheets and transferred to various bodies.
