"The fonts created by professional type designers are created in response to something specific, very accurate and complete; fonts created by graphic designers are more like crafts, made for fun, but nevertheless of quality for some. They don't meet the same needs of users."

"I never had typography training at school, and I think it is the case of many graphic designers. However, we often use typography in our creations; it is quite contradictory. For me, a graphic designer who creates fonts is like an adventurer of graphic design; it is interesting to practice font creation to know a few of the processes and not just use fonts without asking any questions."
