Zimzonowicz — Lubsko, Poland

What mistake or trap should a young artist/designer avoid when working on sequential art? “It’s worth leaving some space, a breather, in both drawing and narration. It’s usually better not to overdo the amount of text. Sometimes leaving a few understatements gives better results. Another idea is to use an interesting text and a visual as dynamic components to engage readers in an intriguing voyage across the wild and fantastic rivers of emotions.”

Zimzonowicz (real name: Łukasz Samsonowicz) was born in 1983 in Lubsko in Poland and obtained a Masters in Fine Art in 2007. He works as a comics artist, illustrator, painter and graphic designer, finding inspiration in everyday life. He likes horror and science-fiction movies, comics, hardcore punk music and rock’n’roll.
