SCAD Artist Talk: Take a Peek Through the Lens of Photographer Jo Farrell — Hong Kong

Join award-winning photographer Jo Farrell for a talk on October 13 (TUE) at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Hong Kong as she presents work from “Living History: Bound Feet Women of China,” a seven-year project capturing a glimpse into the rarely documented Chinese tradition of foot binding. Using black-and-white film and limited edition silver gelatin prints, Farrell documents a variety of vanishing traditions and dying cultures, from stilt fisherman in Sri Lanka to Qing and Ming dynasty villages in China.
