In the exhibition Urban Shelter? Annett Zinsmeister examines issues surrounding shelters and their transience. With her installations, projections and interventions at the BNKR art space, located in a converted above-ground bunker, the artist revisits the past to address a highly topical question: What does shelter mean today? The interplay between remembering and forgetting, past and future increasingly condenses over the course of the exhibition. An accompanying programme of events expands the discourse through questions on the past, the present and the future.
