Moran Bondaroff presents ETERNAL, a three-person exhibition with new work by Marco Barrera and Agathe Snow, and historical pieces by George Herms, selected by Barrera and Snow. An Ode to the found and the misplaced, the schlepped and the hunted. To all the materials: broken, forgotten, used, and reused, on a last leg, out of style and out of step. Once collected and cherished then sold or discarded. Material loses function, purpose, and its original role. But reduced to its color, shape, composition, and volume, what was dead is revived and reinvented. A bead threaded and added to the next as an exercise in non-function, in uselessness, is a thing of beauty, of truth, something loud and clear that fits – informing/enforcing form and reason.
