In PubArt Gallery's upcoming exhibition ‘Transfigurations’, Kos Cos deconstructs the subjects’ faces to allow the viewer the freedom and space to engage with the work and offer an alternative interpretation using only the essential features. Removing the outer layer of skin to reveal what's underneath or adding more layers and texture to hide the original surface, gives a different and more conceptual perspective beyond the purely physical.
