Kunstsammlungen Palais Schwarzenberg, Landstraße, 1030 Wien

Launching out from the posh Palais Schwarzenberg, placed in this year’s focus district, Landstraße, the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK will once again transform Vienna to a platform and a showcase of design. Last year it delighted over 30.900 visitors. The festival, curated by Lilli Hollein, will enter its 8th round this year. National and international works of product-, furniture-, graphic-, and industrial design, such as experimental approaches will be presented from September 26 to October 5 2014. Revealing the creative process of the production and to initiate projects are core elements of the festival´s concept.
