'Swifter, Higher, Stronger, Older' by Carl Burgess — London, UK
The bright young athletes at that event Great Britain hosted last summer – the
Olympic Games, that is – were great and everything, but they lacked the wisdom
and a certain je ne sais quoi that comes with age. A couple of generations of age.
With that in mind, Carl Burgess took it upon himself to inspire an entirely different
generation, the grandparents and great grandparents of the nation, by adding
'Older' to the classic Olympic motto of 'Swifter, Higher, Stronger'.
