Acciaio Series by Max Lipsey — Milan, Italy

Inspired by classic racing bicycles, Max Lipsey's new chair design transforms steel bicycle tubes, leather and aluminium into the Acciaio project - a series of lightweight chairs. With sixteens colours to choose from and each colour named after a bicycle maker who influenced the project, the bikes are displayed at the rear courtyard of Rossignoli Bicycle shop in Milan. Part of the Milan Furniture Fair 2011, the exhibition runs from April 12th to 17th.
