DXTR (Dennis Schuster) — Berlin, Germany

“Pop is about visual impact and accessibility—bold colours, strong shapes, and instantly recognisable imagery that speaks across cultures. I consider my work as Pop Surrealism, a fluid visual language that evolves with culture, from vintage comics to digital aesthetics. It’s about high contrast, dynamic forms, and a sense of immediacy that grabs attention. My work draws from these shifting influences, blending street art, illustration, and contemporary design into something energetic and engaging.”

Dennis Schuster, also known as DXTR, is a Berlin artist and freelance illustrator. He co-founded THE WEIRD, an art collective of 10 urban illustrators across Europe specialising in large-scale muralism. To what began as graffiti illustrations in 1999, his bold, urban-inspired work has been exhibited in cities worldwide, including Berlin, Los Angeles, New York, and Shanghai—leading to collaborations with major clients including Amnesty International, Disney, Nike, and Nickelodeon.
