‘2017 Creative Expo Taiwan’ and ‘Up to 3742’ by InFormat Design received the 2017 Design Mark from the Golden Pin Design Award for spatial design. “If the relationship between curator and audience is a matter of supply and demand, then the exhibition itself needs to respond to subjectivity,” says Wang Yaobang, Director of InFormat Design. ”We should first determine the audience’s environment and time, in order to explore the spirit of the moment we are in.”
InFormat Design has two departments, Curating and Paper, both based in Taipei. InFormat Design Curating is dedicated to renovating the process of design. InFormat Paper is an energetic new media community, and a platform for sharing marketing projects. Wang Yaobang is the Director of InFormat Design. In 2002, he graduated from the architectural department of the University of China, and continued with postgraduate studies at Edinburgh Art Institute. In 2006, he was Creative Director of Archicake Design. Aside from leading InFormat Design, he is a part-time lecturer at Yuanzhi University of Art and Design.
