Kim Asendorf — Berlin, Germany

The pixel-art-generator app Asdfbmp creates a pixels structure by using a spatial partition algorithm resulting in fields populated by pixel patterns. Users can create patterns by using just their fingers. The drawing outcome also comes with a pixel picture employing different colours and patterns. It is easy to use and offers an interesting and enjoyable user experience.

Kim Asendorf is a conceptual artist living in Berlin. He works across a large area of media and the digital-related art. Transporting things from the Internet into real life and back is the objective of most of his experimental pieces, while generative strategies, physical computing, data and glitch are his tools of choice.
