Misha Shyukin — Aachen, Germany

"For me, glitch is a short distortion in video or audio, not intentionally wanted and not seen so often nowadays in ever better-functioning devices. I’m not sure what people think about it, though some probably dismiss it as accidental and therefore trash."

Born in Latvia and still only 24, Misha Shyukin has already received considerable recognition for his visual work. He studied communication design in Aachen, Germany and worked at United Visual Artists (UVA) in London. He sees his works as a series of different experiments without any specific theme or purpose to start with, but ending up as nice to look at and, hopefully, inspiring.
