“Dinosaur tails were the main reference for Mesozoic. Tails had multiple uses, including counterbalance for a long neck or a large, heavy head. Tails and balance are terms used in typography as well and calligraphy was the medium to translate this idea into an abstract look like letters. Through a long process of sketching and writing the shapes, I came up with this fictional writing system, consisting of 12 glyphs.”
