ilegal – Indre Klimaite — Hague, The Netherlands

“I would call minimalism using as little as possible in order to express the message. So there should be only one visual idea but it should be strong enough not to be labelled lame, boring or predictable.”

This studio’s name refers to its Lithuanian-born owner’s early struggles to stay in The Netherlands, where she had been offered a job by the prestigious Dutch graphic-design firm Studio Dumbar that visa problems prevented her from accepting. Indre Klimaite is now happily settled in her adopted home and making quite a name for herself.
