Filippo Cardella — Beijing, China

“A designer should never try to be good. I think it is better to express yourself or an idea that you find interesting. If you promote yourself with something good, but that does not really represent who you are, you will find a good job that you do not like.”

Cardella is an Italian artist, designer, founder and creative director at Difforme art and design studio. He has worked in Italy, Argentina, Singapore and the US and is now based in Beijing. He works mainly in advertising and exhibition design as well as coming up with many art projects, mainly focused on painting. He is interested in graffiti and in urban subcultures.
