Rama Studio — Copenhagen, Denmark

"Good environmental graphics should add personality and energy to a place or organisation, while still serving a practical purpose – decorative and functional at the same time."

To Thomas Frederiksen and Stefan Mylleager, the word “rama” carries many special meanings. Frederiksen lists some: “Ramasjang (which means racket in Danish), ramadan, ramaskrig (outcry), panorama, drama. The sci-fi novel Rendevous With Rama by Arthur C. Clarke. Rama is also a Hindu god with an army of monkeys.” Rama Studio is a graphic-design outfit working in a broad range of media, often with collaborators from other creative disciplines. With a background in art and music, the founders of Rama Studio believe in maintaining a critical creative approach.
